The Salvation Army - Brazil is a religious NGO with strong social assistance programs in more than 115 countries and 175 languages around the planet. They have children's homes, elderly homes, emergency centers, day care community centers, addiction dependency programs, family rescue services and many, many more social services.
Strategic Targets
- Drastically reduce IT infrastructure investment and maintenance costs.
- Increase communication pipelines between local command and international HQ.

My influence
- Reestructured the IT processes and equipments; implemented an "open-source preference" program including intensive training and monitoring of results.
- Responsible for the first Linux-based, cost-efficient installation of a Domino server in the Army's extensive Domino-based network. Result: communication between HQ and branchs was streamlined and standardized.
- Created and launched a series of websites targeting specific demographics, increasing brand awareness as well as donation pipeline.
