• Nokia S40 WebFeeds Solution
  Highly-integrated web feed solution for the S40 platform. It includes RSS/Atom and also pluggable 3rd party protocols (using push and pull technologies). The whole engine can be used as a protocol stack for other 3rd party applications. The UI takes user interaction to a completely new level on S40 platforms.
• Nokia Retail Portal SMS Client
  Nokia’s retail portal targeted to promote sales teams around the globe. SMS Client component is used as an interface mechanism between sales people and the retail portal. Integration with Siebel’s CRM and usage of Agile methods.
• Nokia Video Blog Server (Internet Suite)
  Video blog server designed for NRC/AD as a POF project for streaming on-line video from mobile devices to the internet.
• Kodak
  Virtual consultancy solution targeted to all Kodak stores in Brazil. This solution creates complete analyses of mark-ups, costs, use of human resources and others. It also generates automatic human-like tips to increase the store economical performance.
• CBD (biggest retailer in Brazil)
  Data-mining tool that inspects the check-out tickets. This tool provided the guideline to the decision-making process from the conglomerate's stakeholders.
• Multibras (biggest domestic appliances factory of Latin America)
  Solution for assessing companies involved in the supply-chain. It reports non-conformances regarding quality levels, financial aspects, technology in use, social awareness and others.
• Peugeot & Nokia
  Web portal targeted to Peugeot’s and Nokia’s sales teams. Every member of the sales teams in Brazil enrol on a competition to reach certain sales targets throughout the year.
• PacificMusic
  B2C solution for DVDs and CDs. Among the Top 5 most successful e-business portals for the DVD and CD market in Brazil. It is a showcase for most local e-businesses.
• ClickMovies
  First internet-based DVD rental solution in Brazil. The system provides lots of CRM analysis that not only continuously increased the user experience and satisfaction but also increased profit-per-order during last year's operations.
• Uniflores
  Most successful internet flower shop in Brazil
• Fermata (key copyrights operator in Brazil)
  Advanced and flexible multi-tier ERP that provides productivity and error-free operation generating valuable information for the CEO and his team. Global (one of the biggest book publishers in Brazil) - Internet solution to solve productivity issues integrating local systems to those of their supply-chain participants.
• Viabil
  Specialized software for analyzing the economical viability of civil construction investments. It creates different forecasted scenarios, compares similar analyses and provides a rich set of valuable information that empowers the investors during the decision-making process. It is nowadays used by 6 out the top 10 companies of this market in Brazil. In São Paulo alone, it is estimated that 75% of new buildings are analyzed by this solution before even buying the land.
• Suri-emu
  Solution for managing human-resource allocation. Tools are integrated between Brazil and Japan on a constant 24 hours cycle.

Open Source Initiatives

• Situare
  A Social Location (SoLo) service targeted at Facebook users and with a broad array of devices supported. Enables users to publish their current or intended location and see their friend’s location on the map. Incubator.
• RubyWars
  Space battle game for teaching Ruby and practicing AI
• Qt Mapper
  GPS Open Source navigation application using the Qt framework and target to the Maemo platform . Features include support to N810 internal GPS and external Bluetooth GPS devices, POI/driving directions/address search through and tracking. Maintainer.
• RubyAMF
  Flash/Flex remoting gateway for Rails. It’s an Adobe’s AMF implementation purely in Ruby that can be plugged as a Gem into any Ruby or Rails applications. Contributor.
• HTTPUnit
  Automated test framework for HTTP on Java. Targets at providing the foundations for developers to code unit tests on top of the HTTP protocol. Contributor.
• PHP Manual
  Brazilian-Portuguese manual for PHP. The powerful PHP language and its inseparable canonical manual. Some of the first contributions into translating it to pt-BR. Contributor.
• Mobo
  S60-targeted book reader meant to be easy, flexible and powerful. Searches and downloads titles directly from multiple Internet free sources. Incubator.
• Baby Monitor
  Complete S60 sensor kit to monitor environment variations around babies. It is a technological next step if compared to a traditional cry-alarm. Incubator.
• Card Games Gestures
  Framework for implementing card games that allow social interaction by physically playing through gestures. Incubator.
• Mobile Assistant
  A set of small but powerful features to add to S60 devices. Features are diverse but range from anti-theft to blacklisting numbers or defining automatic SMS replies. Incubator.

About me

I am a charismatic and easy-to-get-along leader. During the last 14 years I have been leading and managing IT and Software Development businesses in as many as 3 different continents.
