Have I gone too far?

During the last couple of weeks I have been indulging myself into doing one of the things that, for me, provides a great deal of satisfaction: self-learning.

It started as a need to develop software for a platform not very familiar and it led me into digging the nature of compilers, trees of S-expressions, pair programming, simulacrum, hyperreality and semiotics.
